Once again, Habitat for Humanity Manitoba is teaming up with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers to help build a house and we want you to join us!
Be part of this exciting experience by working alongside current Winnipeg Blue Bombers player, Trey Vaval, defensive back, and former Winnipeg Blue Bombers Brandon Alexander, while giving back to the community. Both will be on the Pandora Avenue West build site from 11 AM – 1 PM on May 8. Secure your spot today.

Enjoy an opportunity to work alongside former Winnipeg Blue Bombers player Brandon Alexander, with a special visit from Buzz and Boomer at the Pandora Avenue West build site on May 8. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to connect with an athlete in a hands-on setting, share stories and contribute directly to building a home for a family in need. It’s an impactful way to engage your team, boost morale and create lasting memories.
Participants can also take photos and videos of the build day, providing opportunities for corporate marketing and social media content.
Safety First
Your team’s safety is our priority! All participants are required to complete online safety training and attend the morning safety talk at the build site. Our Habitat Manitoba staff and volunteers will ensure that you are safe throughout the day. All participants are suited up with safety gear, trained, and coached through a variety of construction tasks, all while having fun.
What to expect?
You can look forward to a productive and exciting day on the build site.
8:15 am Participants arrive at the site and sign in.
You will be outfitted with personal safety gear.
8:30 am Welcome and safety briefing.
This is when you’ll be assigned your tasks for the day.
12:00 pm Lunch time!
There is a catered lunch included with your build day, as well as snacks, and water available throughout the day. The perfect time to snap a shot with Brandon Alexander, Buzz, and Boomer.
3:45 pm Clean up begins.
