Celebrating the 2024 Spirit of Hope Ride
The 2024 Spirit of Hope team consisting of 39 cyclists and 5 volunteers, spent the first week of July in and around Kenora, ON riding to raise funds for Habitat Manitoba.
The team cycled to Rushing River Campground on the first day, Minaki on the second day, and Redditt on the third day. In total, the team rode 265 km and climbed 2,129 meters through the rolling hills of the Precambrian Shield, passing rocks, lakes and lush boreal forests.
With the help and support of friends, family and their networks, these riders made a significant impact, raising over $120,000 which will be used towards the construction of a new home for Aslan and his family.
