Meet the family moving into the 2026 Women Build Sponsored home
Proceeds from this raffle will go towards the 23rd Women Build sponsored home for Mariam and her five children. Mariam is a single mother who entered the homeownership program, determined to create a better future for her family.
Mariam and her late husband, Mohamed, dreamed of giving their six children a safe, stable place to call home. After immigrating to Canada from Sudan in 2014, they worked tirelessly to build a new life in Winnipeg and create opportunities for their family.
Following Mohamed’s passing, Mariam has continued on with courage and determination raising their children, and moving forward with the future they dreamed of together. Soon, Mariam and her children will move into a safe, affordable home where they can build lasting memories, strengthen their future, and thrive for years to come.
