Women Build
 Women Build is a program that promotes women as leaders. Volunteers are responsible for planning, fundraising, and providing the labour to construct their sponsored home.
Women Build is not about excluding men: it is about including women. Women of all ages and backgrounds are encouraged to volunteer in a non-traditional capacity – construction! It allows participants to learn new skills and trades in a comfortable environment.
Women Build has constructed over 1400 homes worldwide, seven of which are here in Winnipeg. |

How can you help?
Become a Women Build sponsor! As a Habitat sponsor your group can meet and work with the Habitat Homeowner, participate in the groundbreaking, raise the first wall and join the family as they receive the keys to their new home. To learn more about sponsorship, please contact (204) 233-5160.
As an individual or team, use our on-line peer-to-peer fundraising tool to raise funds for Women Build. It will allow you to easily create a personal homepage and email it to your family and friends to request secure online donations.
- Simple to use and setup.
- Set a fundraising goal and watch your results on a digital thermometer.
- Departments can issue fundraising challenges.
- Create a sense of community as you fundraise towards a common goal.
- Invite your friends to join you in fundraising either on their own, or to join your team.
- Donors will receive tax receipts by email.

 Send a gift of giving for that special woman in your life, on Mother’s Day or just because.
Consider making a minimum donation of $25.00 in your special woman’s name to support Women Build. We’ll send a beautiful
card on your behalf with a customized message of your choice to the recipient. The special card will acknowledge that a donation
has been made in their honour to Habitat for Humanity.
