Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg needs your help!
 With the last bit of snow melted away, we have started our 2009 build! Some basements have been dug, and crews have just started to pour the foundations.
Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg (HFHW) is steadily planning for our blitz build which takes place from July 18 to 24th. We are still actively looking for sponsors, volunteers, and gift in kind product and service donations.
HFHW houses are built by volunteers, skilled trades people and journeymen who are caring individuals, enthusiastic about giving a family in need - a "hand up, not a hand out". Manufacturers and distributors in the construction industry donate their products to help build houses and reduce our costs.
We really appreciate product donations such as shingles, flooring, millwork, kitchen cabinetry, and are always in need of lumber and concrete. HFHW is also very grateful for donated services. We need professional trades people to provide services in electrical, plumbing, heating, dry-walling, stuccoing and finishing. All trades must have liability insurance, workers compensation, and be eligible to obtain permits on behalf of HFHW.
