 Every year, Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg relies on hundreds of valuable volunteers to help fulfill its mission of building safe, decent, affordable housing for low-income working families.
Please fill out the downloadable form and indicated what days you would like to participate. Please fax back to (204) 233-5271 or drop off in person at our administrative offices, 60 Archibald Street, second floor.
Throughout the year, various volunteer opportunities are available in the following areas:
Volunteer on a build - Lend a hand and your heart to help Habitat eliminate poverty housing and learn some new skills, no experience necessary.
Pre build April 7 to July 16. We need volunteers Wednesdays to Saturdays, 8:30 am to 4:00pm, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, 6:00pm to 9:00pm to help prepare the foundations for the blitz build.
Blitz Build July 17, 19 to 23 & July 26 to 30. For these two weeks close to 300 volunteers come together to build the homes and make a difference for some Winnipeg families.
Post build August 24 throughout October, Tuesdays to Fridays, 8:30am to 4:00pm. This is when all the final preparations are completed so the families can move in.

Volunteer for the Volunteers - During the blitz build July 17, 19 to 23 and July 26 to 30, we need volunteers to help serve the construction volunteers two coffee breaks and lunch daily. Restore Volunteer -The Habitat ReStore is always looking for volunteers. You can make a difference by helping to keep our administrative cost down. Contact Brenda Mulvaney at 233-5160 ext 214 or bmulvaney@habitat.mb.ca
 Event Volunteer - Throughout the year Habitat for Humanity hosts a variety of fund raising events. By volunteering your time, not only are you helping Habitat raise funds to build homes but you will enjoy a great experience working with others. Committee Volunteer - For every event and fund raising effort Habitat for Humanity has committees who work behind the scenes to bring everything together. If you have some time and fundraising ideas consider joining one of our committees and help make a difference.
