You can enjoy a casual 5 km or leisurely 20 km ride, an enthusiast's 60 km route, go one step further with the 100 km challenge, or brave the 100 miles for the more serious cyclists. Either way you are showing how far you will go to support Habitat for Humanity Manitoba! Enjoy a great day for only one low registration fee of $25 and a required $50 minimum fundraising fee. 2013 Muddy Waters Rides Again: Sunday August, 11th This year's version of the Muddy Waters Cycling event hopes to attract more than the nearly 300 riders who raised almost double the amount from what was achieved previously.
Since the venue changed to Kildonan Park from the Forks with staggered start times for the different route distances, the many participants enjoyed returning at the same time creating a great atmosphere of camaraderie.
The addition of the 5 km ride will continue to attract more families who will be able to cycle with their little children and grow in popularity.
Plenty of food and drink will be served once again to replenish the cyclists along with free massages to help work out the kinks and sore muscles.
This year's event will capitalize on all of the successes from last year by bringing an even more enjoyable experience for new and returning participants.
