How to: 

1. Please register your Occasion with us. 
2. In your invitations/announcements, please indicate “In lieu of a Gift, donations will be gratefully accepted for Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg.” Ask guests to make cheques payable to Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg.  Guests may also donate online at www.habitat.mb.ca and complete the “In Honour of” portion of the donation form. Alternatively, guests may also contact Habitat for Humanity to make a donation over the phone (204) 233-5160 Ext. 0. 
3. Please use this form to record cheque donations so that Habitat for Humanity can issue tax receipts to you or your guests.  Tax receipts will be issued for all donations of $20 or more unless otherwise requested. You will receive an acknowledgement summary for donations of $20 or more, unless otherwise requested, made online or over the phone.  The amount of the donation is not disclosed in any acknowledgements.
4. Please mail, or drop off the cheques (please do not send cash in the mail) and the donation form to Habitat for
   Humanity Winnipeg.

Gift from the Heart Wedding Favour Donations Are you looking for a meaningful way to thank your guests for coming to your wedding? Consider making a donation to Habitat for Humanity in lieu of wedding favours.  Couples typically spend $2 to $6 on wedding favours per guest.  A donation to Habitat for Humanity is a meaningful gift from the heart providing hope for a low-income working family. Make your gift last a lifetime! Please call (204) 233-5160 Ext. 202 to discuss your donation.  Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg will provide you with Donation Acknowledgement cards for you to give to your guests.  A tax receipt will also be issued.
