Professional Associations/Community Not-for-Profits

Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg has also received support from professional associations and community not-for-profit clubs and appreciates their efforts to help families in need.  The most common forms of association support include:

• Golf Tournament Proceeds:
  Turn your association tournament into a Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg Fundraiser.  Donate a percentage of the proceeds, collect prize donations and have a rainbow auction, or coordinate a fee based putting contest. 
  
  
• Raffles or Auctions:
  If you are a charitable organization, you could apply for a gaming license and have a raffle or auction at one of your events and donate the proceeds to Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg.  Acquire donations from your membership and industry suppliers. 
  
  
• Adopt-a-Day Challenge:
  If your association would benefit from a morale boost and are looking for a great team-building idea, consider spending a day together building a home for a family in need.
