Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg’s Cycle of Hope is back for its 15th consecutive year and the 2008 edition is shaping up to be one of the most memorable!

Over 50 cyclists have registered for the 15 day cycling tour of the Great Lakes area and will begin a 1600 kilometre journey starting in St. Croix, Wisconsin.  Click here to view the 2008 Cycle of Hope route and St. Croix area.

Each cyclist has made a commitment to raise a minimum of $2,500 for Habitat for Humanity Winnipeg as well as paying a registration fee.  As collective group the cyclists hope to raise enough money to construct a new home for a low-income working family: the 2007 Cycle of Hope team raised over $150,000!

The 2008 Cycle of Hope’s Habitat Home will be located on Minto Street and will begin construction on July 12, 2008.
